If you aren't making ends meet easily, it's time to evaluate why not.
Notwithstanding the challenges of an economy that favors employers over
workers, you still have a lot of flexibility to increase your prosperity
within the system. Your success is only limited by a lack of imagination.
There are several ways to move from lack to abundance. One method is
simply to downsize your needs! If you're saddled with tremendous debt and
a large mortgage or rent payment, you can take steps to remove some of
those obligations, thus lowering your monthly bills and lessening your
financial strain. Would you be willing to live less "high on the hog" in
order to regain financial stability?
Another way to increase your abundance is to change your thinking about
how you make your living. Many workers today fail to see how they can
utilize their skills in a different field in order to earn more money.
Saying "I'm always going to be a food service worker" will not help you to
see other possibilities for you to use your talents. Everyone has special
gifts to share in the workplace. What are yours?
A third approach is to consider relocating - to another state or even to a
different country. Do your research to discover if moving would be
feasible for you. If you choose to relocate, your cost of living and/or
taxes may decrease, thus enabling you to achieve a higher standard of
living. Do you have enough sense of adventure to pick up roots and move
on?
The key to changing your situation from lack to abundance is simple: Be
prepared to make different choices. A fear of change will not allow you to
grow, either personally or professionally. Even small steps for change can
blossom into exciting periods of growth and prosperity. Life is an
adventure. Are you ready to become an explorer?

A writer once said, "You're either headed for lack or abundance at any
given moment." In other words, your mindset is what drives your material
chariot for good or ill. How you think you're progressing is crucial to
your ultimate success, and believing your work is not valuable or
necessary is going to weigh down your potential for growth and financial
success.
