As a career and life coach in Sacramento, California, I have clients calling me with questions about how to cope with the multiple tragedies we’ve shared as a nation. One of the best ways to cope is to give blood or donate money if you are able. Besides giving something to those in need, it is also very important to take care of yourself and your loved ones at this time.We are reminded of how very special, and how very short, our lives really are. Our lives begin and end, as in a song I wrote for my first album, in “The Twinkling of an Eye.” Because life is so very precious, savor each day you are given—enjoy the moments with family and friends—enjoy your blessings. You may not know how many days you’re given to live on this earth, but you do have the power to live out your days in happiness. You have that choice, each day you wake up.
The world, as we are finding out, is getting smaller and smaller all the time. We are not removed from events happening across our country, nor are we removed from events occurring across the globe. The sooner we realize that we are all connected, the sooner we can find a way to come together in peace instead of in anger, violence or war.
We need to look within our own hearts first, before we can expect others to follow suit. Are you doing what you can do to make the world a better place?
Due to our wish to be of some guidance during these difficult days, Wayne and I are sending all of our newsletter subscribers our free eBook, Grow Your Own Love: Planting Spiritual Seeds for Fulfilling Relationships, a handbook on how to live and love in peace and fulfillment during these hectic times. Our main goal in writing the book was to help the world become a more loving and spiritual place. (It doesn’t matter one bit what your religious beliefs are—practicing the spiritual life fits every religion!)
For a limited time, if you, your friends, family, coworkers, or acquaintances sign up to become subscribers to our newsletter, they will receive our free eBook as well. They may go to our web site, www.lifeandcareercoaching.com, in order to subscribe to our newsletter, free of charge.
Sharing our book with you is our small gift to those who are ready to change our world for the better. We’re all in this together.
